Hey mama, do you feel overwhelmed with the advice and limitations placed on women during pregnancy and postpartum? Do you want to begin or continue working out but are unsure what’s safe and what’s not? I felt this same way when I was pregnant with my son. Now, I  help moms train for a healthy pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. During pregnancy our bodies change so quickly leading to many aches and pains. I integrate yoga and strength training into my sessions to ease pregnancy discomforts and prepare your body for the birth of your baby. After birth, I help you regain strength and get back to doing what you love so that you can enjoy every moment with your child pain free. I am honored to support my clients throughout this life changing time. I have been a certified personal trainer and yoga instructor since 2013 and became a PROnatal certified coach in 2022. I am also a certified nutrition coach and hold a masters in counseling psychology. Please feel free to email me with any questions!

I found a love of movement through my years of dance training. I attended Walnut Hill School for the Arts and Boston Conservatory for dance before heading back to the West Coast where I became a certified Personal Trainer in 2012, completed my Yoga Teacher training in 2015, certified Nutrition Coach in 2018, and became a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist in 2022. I love helping clients on their unique health and wellness path. I believes that health is a product of regular exercise, good nutrition, and psychological/emotional well being. As you work with me, I will help you to identify and change behaviors empowering you to reach your personal health and wellness goals. I completed an AA in Psychology in 2018, BA in Psychology at in 2019, and received a masters in Counseling Psychology in 2023.

 

What should clients expect when they train with me?

My clients should expect to be pushed physically in every session in order to gain strength, flexibility and stamina. Each client’s workouts will be tailored to fit their specific goals. We will combine HIIT, strength training, cardio, stretching and flexibility in order to keep your muscles healthy as well as discuss nutrition.

Every time I hear a client say that their confidence and body image has improved, that they feel proud of themselves, that they feel stronger or happier and more in control of their life choices, it makes my day. It's hard to pick just one.

My training philosophy

I believe that training is more than just the physical part of health. It is about identifying behaviors and changing them to live a lifestyle that leads you towards your health goals. This involves bringing awareness to your current behaviors, learning correct exercise, nutritional habits and mental thought patterns.

My training experience

I worked for 2 years as a trainer for 24 hour fitness and then started my own company, Sierra Training and Yoga. I have worked with clients ages 18-75, male and female. I have also worked with people recovering from injuries and helped them correct their form and movements to relieve pain.
